BIOCLEAN® uses the energy of UV rays and rain, combining hydrophilic and photocatalytic properties.
The photocatalytic action breaks down organic dirt on the glass surface and reduces the adhesion of inorganic (mineral) contaminants.
The hydrophilic action causes rainwater (or other water) to spread evenly across the glass surface, washing away broken-down particles of organic or mineral dirt.
The cleaning function is continuously regenerated through exposure to sunlight (UV rays from direct or indirect sunlight).

Therefore, the best operating conditions are a combination of sunlight and rain.
