The analysis covers facade glass and internal glass. 

The technical assessment includes:

• Identification and marking of glass types to distinguish glazing suitable for recycling from that which is unsuitable for recycling. The analysis, performed on-site at a building designated for demolition, covers facade glass as well as internal glass based on composition and glass category (according to the classification below). During identification, the glass is sorted into three categories: recyclable, laminated recyclable, and non-recyclable. 
• The glass will be marked to ensure proper sorting for the dismantling process. Counting the quantity of each type of glazing (divided into the above categories) for better on-site logistics organization. Collecting information on sizes, quantities, and locations of glass allows for more accurate estimates. 
• The material inventory report is the result of the service. 
• A recycling or disposal offer for facade materials can be prepared based on the technical inventory report by Saint-Gobain Glass partners, who offer recycling services if you are interested in recycling and/or disposal of glass. 

THE NEED FOR GLASS IDENTIFICATION

To enable glass recycling in a closed loop, it is recommended to conduct a verification before dismantling.

This will clearly and understandably define the content of specific glass fractions for demolition, maximizing the chances of increasing the amount 
of building glass subjected to recycling and, most importantly, allowing it to return to the furnace for the production of new float glass.
