LIVERPOOL EXHIBITION CENTRE, Liverpool, Wielka Brytania

Liverpool Exhibition Centre, located on the city’s iconic waterfront, is the latest component of the highly successful Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool project. It is the only purpose-built facility in Europe that combines an arena, a convention centre, and an exhibition centre.

High-performance solar control glass for Liverpool’s iconic waterfront

Exhibition Centre Liverpool is a new venue for exhibitions and various other events, located in the historic heart of Liverpool and opened in 2015. The Centre can host up to 50 events per year, attracting over 250,000 visitors.

The conceptual architectural design was created by Denton Corker Marshall, a firm that envisioned a remarkable building blending harmoniously with the Kings Waterfront surroundings.

The facility offers 8,100 m² of exhibition space, which can be divided into three interconnected column-free halls, each with an area of 2,700 m², usable individually or together.

This is a truly charismatic project, enabling thousands of visitors to admire spectacular exhibitions.

Pullman Hotel Liverpool, which is part of the Exhibition Centre Liverpool complex, is a new 4-star hotel with 200 rooms located directly above the exhibition centre. It was also designed by Denton Corker Marshall. The building’s exterior expression is shaped by a series of horizontal “tubes” stacked on top of one another. The hotel’s structure serves as a vertical extension of the predominantly horizontal form of the exhibition centre.

The entire facade of the building is made of COOL-LITE® XT 50/22 II glass, offering the perfect combination of light transmission, superior solar control, and a neutral appearance.

The designers made the right choice by selecting a product from our COOL-LITE® range, as the building’s location required the use of highly selective glass with advanced insulation properties.

The expressive design of the main facade and the materials used pay homage to the industrial heritage of Liverpool’s historic dockside structures.
